  • Day-01 Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
    Drive to Londorossi Gate (approx 2 hours). Trek through rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2890m). Dinner and overnight.
  • Trek out of forest onto Shira Plateau. Reach Shira 1 Camp (3550m). First views of Kibo. Dinner and overnight.
  • Trek across Shira Plateau. Spectacular views. Reach Shira 2 Camp (3850m). Acclimatization walk to Shira Cathedral. Dinner and overnight.
  • Trek to Lava Tower (4600m) for acclimatization. Descend to Barranco Camp (3950m). Views of Barranco Wall.
  • Climb the famous Barranco Wall. Trek to Karanga Camp (4035m). Rest and acclimatization.
  • Trek to Barafu Camp (4640m). Prepare for summit attempt. Early dinner and rest.
  • Start summit at midnight. Reach Stella Point (5756m) then Uhuru Peak (5895m). Descend to Mweka Camp (3100m). Celebration dinner!
  • Trek through rainforest to Mweka Gate. Lunch, receive certificates. Drive back to Moshi/Arusha.
